Vending machines: They’re where all good eating resolutions go to die—right? If you visit a vending machine, you aren’t going to find much in the way of natural, unprocessed food. You’ll find a lot of artificial ingredients, a lot of additives, and a lot of unhealthy carbs and sugars.

But you can work harder at avoiding vendo-land—all it takes is a little forethought and preparation. And better-for-you snacks can fit into any eating plan or dietary restrictions, too.

Take single-serve packets of nut butters: Spread them on a banana or apple and you get a serving of fruit with a little protein, too—great for natural sugars and more sustaining energy, too. And you can get a large package of single-serve options like this and stash them at work so you’re always prepared with something on hand.

What other ideas—or foods—should you be snacking on? This graphic has some ideas.

I had an experience with Shark Appliances and Electronics customer service that left much to be desired. The representatives were unhelpful and seemed disinterested in resolving my issue, which was frustrating and you can also find customer service contact on https://shark.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html . I expected a more efficient and supportive interaction, especially given the quality of their products. Unfortunately, the lack of responsiveness and clarity made the entire process feel tedious and unsatisfactory. I hope they can improve their customer service to match the high standards of their appliances.
